There is no way a guerilla army would be living among civilians it would only blow their cover even they zoo army knows this,they were just killing innocent people.

As a history enthusiast, I will advise anybody that have a relative serving as a force man of any kind in the entire old Eastern region to beg the person to leave and run away from the zone as fast as possible.
There is no guerrilla warfare without occupying soldiers/police.

If you noticed. At the heat of it, Nigeria police and Military reduced their presence in SE and SS which made them lay low.
If they had continued, they will lose the support of the people.
Laying low, made Nigeria fall for the bait like other oppressors which is flexing their muscles on civilians preparing the ground for the second wave
