Buhari Appoints Mr. Obinna Atuonwo As Chairman Of PPPRA by kahal29(op): 6:32pm On Jun 25, 2021

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Mr. Atuonwo A. Obinna as Chairman of the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA).

Also, he approved the re-appointment of Mr. Abdulkadir Saidu as Executive Secretary of the agency for another four years.

This was contained in a statement issued by Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Mr Femi Adesina, on Friday.

“President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of a Chairman, and an Executive Secretary for the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA).

“The Chairman is Mr. Atuonwo A. Obinna, while the Executive Secretary is Mr Abdulkadir Saidu, reappointed for another four years.

“The appointment of Mr Atuonwo Obinna as Chairman Governing Board for a four-year term is in accordance with Section 2 (1-3) and 3 (a) of the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (Establishment, ETC) Act 2003,” the statement said.

The people in question don't need Appointment or infrastructure. They just need policies that'll ease ways of doing shady business.
Let Buhari open the boarder anyhow, allow free flow of importation of any kind of products, and ease customs checks. You'll see how they'll forget 'Buhari and his nepotism'.

President Buhari needs to campaign for a presidential candidate of Igbo extraction to succeed him as president of Nigeria, if he wants to put up a legacy of justice and equity in Nigeria before he leaves office.
He excluded the Igbo which is the 1st or 2nd largest single ethnic group in Nigeria, from holding any important office in his government. Buhari’s pattern of political appointment which excluded the Igbo from holding any of the offices of Legislative arm of government is unprecedented in the history of Democratic governance in Nigeria, is an absurdity that ruined his administration.

They are trying to appease the igbos now by giving them appointments,on a normal day,there wouldn't have been something like this happening lately,thanks to ugm and esn,igbos really need to immortalize those guys,now northerners are getting scared and as well taking the igbos serious.

His inbuilt blood borne nepotism would not allow him to even pretend to appointing a southerner alone.
Whenever a southerner is appointed,he makes it a point of duty to announce appointment or reappointment of another northerner.
Less than 2 years and the worst person to ever rule Nigeria would be gone forever from any leadership position.
