This is bad news indeed. The FG needs to come up with a solution very fast to counter this or else this terrorists will just be using our gallant soldiers in the forest as shooting practices since it seems they now have the upper hand due to their increasing numbers.

The Expert on Islamic insurgency Mr Bukarti is right in some of his points but clearly wrong when he said the Authorities (leaders) of the country should put a halt to the recruitment. I mean you can't just tell this guys to stop their evil atrocities, no matter the amnesty, the ransoms, the bribes, the payoffs. Most of these bandits, terrorists and Fulani's have been brainwashed right from birth till adulthood to see the evil acts as good, to see killing as giving honor to their almighty allah.

Education is the cure. It doesn't necessarily means western education which they consider as haram, what they need is subtle moral education which should be administered to them from the young ones to the adult. The education program should focus on changing their orientation and not their religion, after this job opportunities should be provided to them as to keep them busy and occupied. The problem is 'LACK OF EDUCATION'

Most of the newly recruited ones probably haven't had any form of education hence making them prone to evil and tempting brainwashing gimmicks which will set them on the path of death and destruction of innocent lives
Continue speaking grammars and engaging in intellectual discuss rubbish, these guys and the gov't are one and same and they're on a mission to islamise the country and rest of West Africa. Support Biafra restoration to put a stop to this impending calamity now.

East is not doom.

We know this for long, even when we and Kanu spoke about it,you people hated us and called it hate speech.
Southern Nigerians and their igbo phobia is what will ruin them. It's not too late to unite and prepare against these Northern terrorist but they will rather invest their energy in mocking Nnamdi Kanu, Ipob and ESN.
Well, doom is coming.

Those guys can’t descend on south.. southern are ready. They only want them to make that mistake
They are already in the South waiting for go ahead orders. These people are recruiting, armed to the teeth and trained.
The South is still laughing and ill prepared or killing and sabotaging the prepared ones.
If the North should go into a war with the South, we know the winner not because the South is not strong but they are disunited, ignorant and not armed. Southern governors and politicians will rather sell off their people than support them then fly over to America and Dubai when the crises start.
The South is doomed unless they stop being stupid.

How can Nigeria be prosecuting this terrorism war far over a decade yet the country doesn't know their sponsors? If the government can pick up and deal with their sponsors, the war against insurgency will be won by 70%.
.
Y are our youth so dumb, if it is ESN now you will call on government to kill all igbos....yet you cannot put 2 and 2 together to know sponsorship of Boko and banditry is located deep within this buhari APC administration.

Smile

Many people will be eager to apply, since the Government are no longer providing jobs and to worsen the situation the Government are making things difficult for businesses to thrive especially the small businesses and finally there is hunger in the land

What do you suggest the leaders of the 5 SE states do to end terrorism in the SE?
SE used to be the most peaceful until your Boko Haram:ISWAP started to burn government buildings and kill soldiers and policemen in the east , while they were tagged IPOB’s ESN.
Stop fooling yourself.

More land than the United Kingdom which includes England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales. Yet the only goods they produce is almajiri, marriage of underaged girls, banditry and terrorism.

Nigeria could have been great but for the North.
They even want allocation to be shared according to landmass. The most unproductive continent.

When the economy is bad, poverty becomes high and people are naturally angry. Nigeria has an enormous army of young unemployed angry youths. It's a potential market for terrorists and people who has a high drive to become a recognizable in the world.

The teeming Youths love action and not just entirely peace. If you don't hire them or provide an avenue for reasonable self-employment, they'll be hired one way or the other.
They are smarter than your government cant you see they are using reverse psychology to recruit

And with president expressly dashing people's hopes on TV saying there are no jobs, you should be sure the government's antagonists will provide better jobs.

I have every reason to believe the northern government and the presidency are happy with the development, connect the dots man, the presidency is in support of ISWAP, they'd be very happy to Islamize Nigeria, or why cant the same legal actions taken against IPOB be used against the Bandits, what Boko haram is doing today is in line with Jihad, which I believe the Northern govt somewhat wants, going against them is going against their own belief, or why do we have sharia law today, so they'd rather stay mute than fight back, or how do you think Islam is spread if not by conquest... for crying out loud the government know where these people are, or at least Gumi knows where they are, his even being escorted by Police and DSS is also aware... connect the dots
What dots are there to connect? Borno alone is almost as big as the whole south east. Do you think it is easy to fight insurgency over there? IPOB are not so many and are not as sophisticated and that is why it was so easy to fish them out. That doesnt mean that the Government showed any preference in dealing with these terrorists groups. The Presidency till tomorrow still has El ZakZaky in captive or is he not a Muslim? Do you know how many Bokoharam fighters have been killed by this government? Didnt you see the recent merger within the groups just to ensure they remain relevant?

Lets put sentiments aside and try to apply a more practical approach to the way we interpret government actions and inactions.

Apologies for the previous insult. I take back my word.

Blame the law makers, especially the Southern lawmakers. If they represent the people at least the laws governing the country will be one.
Nigeria is meant to be a secular state. One part of the country is operating Sharia law, seizing alcohol and arresting DJs grin
Same states will still benefit form alcohol sales
Spot on.

The concoctions of news of allegiance, merger and collaboration of whatever armed/terrorist groups in the north-east,north-west and north central is coming from the government circle to further depleting the nation resources in the name of arms procurement/security votes.Lets go to true federalism you will see all these shenanigans dying a natural death.ISWAP/BOKO HARAM/aNsaRU sheikhdoms will crumble in days.

Story as usual! they would welcome them well to their criminal groups with money: to entice them, then ask them to maim and steal for collective benefits.

lol i wasn't the one you insulted earlier ... I just quoted you...

firstly the bandits per se are not occupying the whole of Borno state, but just a fraction... and they grew in numbers because of the negligence of the Federal govt... if the presidency could handle the Bandits as they did with IPOB, this issue would be no more... for crying out loud they know who and where they are... and i say this without repentance Buhari is a nepotic person and is somewhat in support of Nigeria being a Muslim state... for crying out loud this is what all the northern leaders want as sharia is part of the constitution in the north

please help answer these questions
1. whats the mission of ISWAP and Boko Haram
2. why is sharia law part of the constitution in the north
3. Deep inside you do you want Nigeria to be an Islamic state

3. Deep inside you do you want the islamization of Nigeria to become a reality
1. ISWAP and Bokoharam started during Yaraduas time and not Buhari, hence i do not understand why you are trying to link this with Buhari.
2. Sharia law as always been part of the constitution and mind you its a state law and cannot be enforced on southerners. Do you agree?? Also, this was not a Buharis idea. Do you also agree??
3. The shout around Islamization is a bit funny. I am a Muslim and i must say that the feeling is mutual. We also feel that Christians are trying to Christianize Nigeria and i have many reasons to support this.
a. In the South and also some part of the North, you see Christian worshipers approaching various households and preaching Christianity. Is this not true? Do you see Muslims engage in such act?
b. In Lagos, you see Christian preachers and bus stops and in commercial vehicles preaching to everyone irrespective of your religion
c. They share Christian materials every nook and cranny of the Southern states. You wont see this with Muslims

I can go on and on. Like i said, lets us all take our time to truly reflect on some of these events before we make accusations. There are many more reasons to buttress the fact that Christians are trying to Christianize everybody LOL

Lol preaching is not enforcing you to accept against one's will, like what the Boko haram and Iswap are doing today which is by conquest or by force, against one's will to be literal... They share materials in contrast to bringing guns and cutlasses at one's neck...

They preach at every corner, it's still ones choice to listen or not... They go to houses with books not with guns and they don't even force you to read, I myself don't collect materials from anyone it's a choice

Lol

Let me quote you Iswap and Boko haram started during Yaraduas ( RIP) a northerner... I could as well say it's part of the plan LOL

Secondly, I still do not want to say anything about the herdsmen, why are legal actions not taken against them, it's still the nepotism of the President

Part of Sharia law violates the constitution of Nigeria (which wasn't created to be an Islamic state)

Sharia law is still implemented even on the nonminorities Christians in the north

And also if Muslim preachers go on the street to preach nobody I repeat nobody will stop them...

Mosques shout their prayers every morning, nobody is stopping, I even use them as my alarm, you all know what'd happen if churches do that in the north...

how many churches have been burnt in the north, let me rephrase how many mosques have been burnt in the south

Is violence the only way to spread Islam...huh
is the mission of ISWAP and BH inline with the doctrines of Islam...huh

id really love to know what your true reflection of the situation is...
