Despite the loss of yet another governor to the All Progressives Congress, APC, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, remains upbeat of its chances of returning to power at the centre in 2023. Zamfara state governor, Bello Matawalle, Tuesday, crossed over to the ruling party, a development that did not go down well with the National Working Committee, NWC, of the party. Addressing newsmen at a meeting of party leaders yesterday, national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus said the PDP’s chances of winning the Presidential election in 2023 will not dim owing to Governors’ defection to the APC. He labelled Matawalle as a man “who has probably lost memory of how he became governor,” adding that the party will go the whole hog to protect the mandate given to it by the Supreme Court when it ruled in favour of the PDP. He added that the party’s optimism is premised on th support of the masses nationwide while APC “is busy after governors in their bid to rig elections in 2023.” …Details later https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/06/2023-pdpll-be-back-in-aso-rock-secondus/? |

"To be be dreamless in a dreamer's world is to doomed" Dr.Oyedepo. It's natural for every human including Secondus to dream. |

The last thing to leave a man is hope, I shared in Secondus optimism. Poaching bigwigs from opposition parties doesn't prove a thing, it's all about lust for power and we can see how it is playing out in Imo State between the incumbent and his predecessor. |

Take out buhari from the equation PDP is still far stronger than APC No politician in APC can get the buhari block votes ... without which it's impossible for APC to win ,at least mathematically ... Anything outside 70% in north west and 65% on north east it's over for APC really PDP just need to find a liberal northern candidate simple the aim is simple win 40% on north west , win 45% in north east the rest is history |
