When Fulani herdsmen were slaughtering men, women and children all over Southern Nigeria, what did Buhari do? He kept quite and said nothing. Only very few unpatriotic people create an industry around secession campaigns by hyping their views online using blogs and influential platforms where they can use phoney usernames and create multiple accounts like Nairaland to create a bubble which draws in some less discerning . Don't fall for them. They are very small in number even here on Nairaland . To destroy is easy but to build takes a lot of hardwork. Many of us waste very valuable time we should use for positive creativity for nation building to support these vicious state actors.

We are paying a huge social cost for this huge resource wastage and the most recent being the colossal unprecedented mass failure in JAMB by same generation who spend most of their lives online. If Nairaland founder was always online insulting everyone and cursing Nigeria, he won't create Nairaland.

If you are a student, get off the social media and Nairaland for now, most comments here will foul up your head and mind. Stay off nairaland and the social media. I just learnt yesterday that top schools like UNILAG have phased out things like change of course and if you fail, they will reject you outrightly, you can only get in on merit . So if you don't want to end up in one obscure mediocre university that their degree certificate to most employers, is not worth more than the paper it was printed upon , face your studies and leave Nairaland. Any news that is very important to you, will reach you even if you are not online. Avoid Nigerian newspapers too! Nigerian newspapers are filled with negativity that can steal your inner strength to overcome challenges. They believe that negative news sells more so they don't care if they mess up your head. They are only interested in the profit they make selling only bad news.

Government is not perfect but hey!, some people are making it big in this same Nigeria. Where these negative folks see problems, foreigners and a few Nigerians see opportunity and make huge returns from the solution they provide. Join the league of such people with a positive mindset. i am a yoruba man but i think i must give kudos to kanu , at least he never said he has juju or can face the bullets unlike how igboho and his followers have been making people believe , kanu was arrested , went to jail and jump bail , whereas igboho is busy running . he lost the perfect chance to write his name down in history , when they came to his house he should have gone to them and allowed them to take him , thereby saving those in his house , that would have shown his followers and supporters that he is truly ready to die for the cause , but if i am his follower and seeing how my boss ran away from the military , i will think twice before following him blindly again

Yorubas are some funny breed of people. The same people were all over the place jubilating and taunting Igbos when Nnamdi Kanu's home was attacked by soldiers and many people killed in cold blood. Then you begin to wonder what was their motivation? What was the crime of Nnamdi Kanu or Igbos in challenging an evil system being propped up by a section of the country to conquer others? But the Yorubas obviously weren't foresighted enough to know that what Nnamdi Kanu or Igbos are fighting for will benefit everyone including them!

If Southerners are smart, no one would condemn Nnamdi Kanu or Igbos for taking a stand in risking all to challenge the status quo. Yet other Southerners took advantage of it to make it look like it's the rest of Nigeria against Igbos.

An Igbo adage says that a fowl that laughs at another when it's being preyed on by the eagle should know that one day will be its own turn.

Southerners don't even know what they are up against. If Nnamdi Kanu and his group are neutralized and Igboho, the only other person that is challenging the status quo is neutralized too, then it's all over for us. Even Niger Delta minorities are keeping quiet instead of making their own moves now.

I will end by saying that we Blacks are unarguably one of the most dumb and thoughtless humans God created. It's now easily understandable why a handful of Europeans could travel thousands of kilometers to enslave us for centuries, same thing the Arabs did.
