Guestlander:Yes. He is disobeying the law and order of the land. Assembly for agitations for sucessionists is not a right in our constitution |

thebosstrevor1:In this case which section of the constitution or law are they trying to enforce? The rallies has been done peacefully in other states. If the police think some people are trying to cause public disorder, isn't it the duty of the police to protect the protesters and go after the trouble makers? |

Guestlander:Section 2(1) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as Amended states that Nigeria is one indivisible and indissoluble sovereign state. This clearly means that Nigeria is a sovereign state that cannot be split or divided into parts neither can any part of or group of people in Nigeria seced from Nigeria. |
| Re: Akintoye Dares Police: No Going Back On Lagos Rally by Guestlander: 6:14pm On Jul 02, 2021 |
thebosstrevor1:Sovereignty comes from the people. Also, the Nigerian people did not write this 1999 constitution to start with. It was written by Abacha and imposed on the people. Even as crooked as it is your right to a peaceful protest is protected. |

Guestlander:Was abacha alive in 1999. Nigerian top lawyers wrote our constitution and each representative of every tribal group agreed to it. Sovereignty does not come from the people but the constitution. Show us in the laws of Nigeria and in our constitution where criminals have rights? |
| Re: Akintoye Dares Police: No Going Back On Lagos Rally by Guestlander: 6:20pm On Jul 02, 2021 |
thebosstrevor1:What type of dumb question is that? What does it matter whether Abacha was alive or dead in 1999? Yes, Sovereignty comes from the people. The will of the people is sovereign, that is why democracy is defined as the government of the people by the people. Not by the police or the president but by the people. |

thebosstrevor1:Of what use is Nigeria being a signatory to "any UN charter" if d constitution is greater than d charter? |
