UN Watch takes a Swipe on Nigeria over unlawful arrest, repatriation of Nnamdi Kanu

The United Nations wing responsible for monitoring activities of countries in violation of her charter has on Monday took a swipe on the Nigerian government over the recent arrest of Mr. Nnamdi Kanu.

The Geneva-based non-governmental organization had indicated concern on details covering circumstances the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Kanu was apprehended and further repatriated to Nigeria.

The tweet read: "Nigeria refuses to provide any details on their arrest of indigenous leader Nnamdi Kanu.

It further warned Nigeria and reminded the country is presently wrongly on rights of Nnamdi Kanu which the organization oversees.
