Parents of the abducted students of Bethel Baptist School Kaduna state have taken over the Kaduna-Kachia express road in protest over the abduction of their wards, Newspremises reports.

The protest is ongoing even as the police claim it has rescued 27 of the abducted students and one teacher has been rescued while efforts are being made to rescue the remaining students still in captivity. Unconfirmed reports claim hundreds of the students are still in captivity.

The distraught parents holding leaf branches, sat on the road while some of them stood as they called on the state government to expedite action in rescuing their children from the kidnappers den.
