I've been wondering why Kumuyi who preaches modesty, repentance and holiness is inviting the pastors of worldly churches as guest speaker at deeper life events. This is not the first time Kumuyi is associating with worldly pastors. I believe that deeper lifers attend deeper life because of it's uniqueness, modesty and the holy message? So why is our general overseer inviting a man that wears a red suit and a man who pastors a worldly church to come and minister to deeper lifers. This is not the first time that Kumuyi will be falling short, the other time it was his sons wedding where the bride was covered in make up, earrings and an immodest gown. So deeper lifers, what's your opinion? Is it right for Kumuyi to invite a pastor of a worldly church as guest speaker at deeper life events? |

Look, man can change his mind anytime he likes and Kumuyi's history has more than proven that to be the case several times over. The problem is with those of you who think him a god over your very lives, living by standards given you by this man. samwash:I read from another deeper life that there church is the Kingdom of God, "...a kingdom not of this world". I can only imagine the level of delusion one has to be working on to believe that a church built of the hands of men it the Kingdom of God. |

samwash: Worldly churches mean churches where they don't practice modesty, churches where the women where mini skirt, earrings, makeup and the rest. Churches like dunamis, redeemed, Daystar and the rest. The doctrine of these worldly churches contradicts the gospel of deeper life, so why is Kumuyi associating deeper life church with these worldly churches by inviting pastors of such churches to minister to deeper lifers? |

You're very funny, first thing first there's no denominations in heaven so the earlier your G.O starts correcting some things the better. The man did more harm than good to his members to such an extent that you all wear the same kind of dresses. A man can wear red suits and still be righteous than you. |

RighteousI:I really don't think you've been studying your Bible o. Never ever insult the church of Christ. That itself is even a sin which you've committed. You're not in that position to make that declaration. It is clear that you really do not know Holiness from all you've spewed out. We need Holiness borne out of love and faith and knowledge of God and Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit and not Holiness borne out of fear of hell fire. God have mercy on us. |

AABBIIMM:1. What church of Christ, the Church that Jesus Christ said that He will build- with His own hands - in Matthew 16 vs 18 , or the church, DCLM, built by Kumuyi on his own doctrines and traditions which have nothing to do with the teachings of Jesus Christ? 2. Jesus Christ never said it was a sin to insult even His own church, so why do you believe it a sin to insult DCLM? Did you not at least learn in all your time with this man that it is a sin against God to add your own ideas and commandments to His Law? 3. According to Jesus Christ, the only way to acquire Holiness. I.e. become a Son of God, is through continual submission to and obedience of His teachings and commandments, the Truth of God, and then only can you be set free from bondage/slavery to sin by the Truth - John 8 vs 31-44 . But given that many of you are too busy following the doctrines and traditions taught you by men, that which God considers an abomination against Him - Matthew 15 vs 1 - 14, how do you intend to stand against God, Jesus Christ, and still achieve Holiness according to the same standard, Jesus Christ ? |

Kobojunkie:I say it again, stop insulting the church of Christ. It is better the Lord of the church Himself give you a message for His church than you talking and saying all kinds of stuff. In all the messages of Jesus Christ to the seven churches in the book of revelation, Jesus Christ, the Lord of the church never denied that they weren't His church but rather he first commended them and gave messages on what needs to be corrected and the consequences of not taking heed to those corrections. Now, John that had these messages concerning the churches said he was in spirit on the Lord's day. A lot of spiritual babes will be spewing based on observations. Not as if they heard the Lord sending them to give a message to a particular church but they'll formulate their own perceived message based on observations about the church. The Bible says in Isaiah 11:3 KJV And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord : and he shall not judge after the SIGHT OF his EYES, neither reprove after the HEARING OF his EARS: You cannot judge the church based on your mere observations. And I put it to you that you're not in position to judge because the church belongs to Him that redeemed her and not you. Your sentimental judgement can do nothing but our priestly intercession can do alot. Let us be guided by the Holy Spirit. The Lord make us of quick understanding in Jesus name. Amen. |

AABBIIMM:1. This message is from Jesus Christ. He declared over 2000 years ago that your churches are not of God but of men as they are built on the doctrines and traditions of men, lies, which are an abomination to Almighty God, whose Truth you oppose in your lies- Matthew 15 vs 1- 14. 2. The Church that belongs to Jesus Christ is built by Jesus Christ, and not by the hands of men and certainly not on top of the doctrines and commandments of men - Matthew 16 vs 18 3. Your priests and pastors are not called by God who declared that He alone is Teacher, Leader/authority - Matthew 23 vs 6-7-, Shepherd - John 10 vs 7 - 16- , Father - Matthew 23 vs 9 -, Master, Head - Matthew 23 vs 8 over each and everyone who belongs to Him in His Kingdom. Jesus Christ said in John 6 vs 43-45, that those who belong to Him are those who were taught by God, not by men. Those who belong to God are those who live in continual submission to and obedience of the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ , certainly not the teachings and commandments of Kumuyi - John 8 vs 31 - 44 4. There is nothing of the sentimental kind about my judgement here as I have done as Jesus Christ commanded, and that is judge according to His Word and Truth, the standard by which everyone who belongs to Him is judged, God's Law in the Kingdom of God. Again, your church and Kumuyi are against God in your following of the doctrines and commandments of men, Kumuyi in this case. Yours is a case is a case of the blind leading the blind and know that God will never change a smidge of His Word to accommodate any one who vows to the words of another man instead of the Word of God. |

RighteousI: I was really hoping to see something solid as to what makes DCLM different from those whom you tagged “worldly churches”. After all, those churches you mentioned all believe and do the same things your church does e.g. Trinity, hellfire, birthdays, miracles, speaking in tongues, forming alliances/dining with corrupt politicians and that one becomes “born again” by reciting the usual mantra and so on that I cannot count. So there’s really no difference that you can point out. There was even a time when Kumuyi infused into the heads of his congregants that technology was of the Devil but I guess he’s now lenient. It was made that y’all were basically averse to technology so the question is, “Why do you possess a cell-phone, are you not becoming ‘worldly’ by doing so?” My point is, however, that you should try to cross-examine whether your beliefs and doctrines tally with the Bible so you can be able to substantiate your faith. Acts 17:11 For example, what Scriptural principle forbids the use of technology? Or what Scripture forbids the use of cosmetics? None. At 1Timothy 2:9,10 and 1Peter 3:3,4; the emphasis was on modesty and soundness of mind . The better way to look at it is like this: The apostles were saying that true beauty is not measured by cosmetics and makeup, but by developing and exhibiting godly qualities. Not that they were forbidding using jewelry, cosmetics or makeup. If they were, then women are also not expected to wear clothes because 1Peter 3:3 says: “Your adornment must not be merely external—braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses;” NASB Moreover, God’s people in the past wore jewelry and adorned themselves properly.
