If Eventually A Very Tribalistic Southerner Becomes President... by Fafesot(op): 8:55am On Jul 06, 2021
This is not in anyway tribalistic, I was just thinking, what if a Southerner who also knows how to treat the Northerners in the language they understand becomes the president; what will be the fate of the Hausa's/Fulanis who are heading principal organizations in the country and even an average northerner?

A tribal southerner cannot be president because tribalism is the language of the south. Everyone knows its the turn of igbo's to produce president, but tribalism won't let the south support an igbo president.

You can't say yet. Let the primaries start, then we can all conclude the tribal attitude of the west if eventually an Igbo is not made a forerunner.

Thats why I dnt think d north will yield 2 d pressure of handing power down south. In as much as it was part of PMB's political promise that he will handover power to the south, I dnt see it happening. The northerners wud rather cos more chaos, prolong PMB's tenure, or rather divide d country. They r so scared of revenge 4rm d south. But at last Godswill will be done.

With the present structure only a northern can have shariaist tendency, be a bigoted tribalist and still contest and win presidential election.

I remember the yorubas hailing Kaduna, Kano, Katsina bloated child voting population during the last elections along with omenka the fulani bigot- They called it KKK brothers.

The truth is that yorubas love injustice against others until they are at the receiving end.

Fulani/Hausa heading principal organizations would be retired and appointments would be on merit which I know the northerners won't qualify.

thinking that power is in the North is another lie. Southerner don't usually vote because of lack of voters card, but from the new innovation from including that people can register online, most Southerner will be captured and u know most middlebelt states will always support South. Years to come, the determinant of any president will be south and middlebelt.

Thats why they are already fighting against electronic result transmition. They r trying 2 pave way 4 another form of rigging. Buhari knowing too well that he has flopped nd anybody he chooses to succeed him wud be damed by both d north central nd d south, he then decides to use d back door. With d recent resolve by d southern gov'nors, thats if they will match words with actions, its game over 4 d north and buhari. unless they want war. Lets keep watching them, only time will tell.

MEDIA NEPOTISM WHICH NEVER EXIST IN REALITY.
Ogun tops Buhari’s 190 political appointees, South-east least represented.
Ogun State in South-west Nigeria has the highest number of political appointments made by President Muhammadu Buhari since his re-election in 2019 holding 17 out of a total 190 appointments, a document exclusively obtained by PREMIUM TIMES has revealed.
It is followed closely by Adamawa State with 14, and Kano, Lagos and Oyo states with 12 appointees each.
They are trailed by Katsina, Osun, Edo and Ondo with eight appointees apiece, Kwara and Ekiti with seven each while Delta comes next with six appointees.
States with the least appointments, according to the document, are Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Imo, Plateau and Zamfara, all of which have one political appointment each.
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has no single political appointee.
Ogun is the home state of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Zonal distribution
On a zonal basis, the South-west geo-political zone, comprising Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Lagos, Ondo and Ekiti, tops the list with 64 appointees.
The North-west, Mr Buhari’s home zone, which has seven states altogether, comes a distant second with 37 appointees.
The states in the zone are Kebbi, Sokoto, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Zamfara and Katsina where Mr Buhari hails from.

If the EAST were the ONLY ones at the receiving end of Buhari and fulani wickedness, many yorubas who are now pro-south would have continued to cheer buhari and mock the East. This is a FACT that cannot be in dispute. Afterall after 'you and buhari won' the 2015 elections you declared yourselves 'westerners' and longer southerners.

I want the south to unite, but why should it be only when yorubas are getting fuccked up the arsx by the power-greedy fulanis they help to enthrone.

An Igbo adage says that if we don't know where the rain started beating us, we may not remember where we dried our bodies.
Why did the rain start beating the SW? Was it pre-buhari or during this buhari regime?

Lol...the reason Fulani still holds the power is because there are some powerful and highly influential southerners fueling their government.
May God prolong our days beyond 2023,let North suggests a northerner as president and then,we'll see if the country will truly burn.

Fulani days are numbered, they themself know this.

The southerners are ready for anything Fulani wants to serve.

And also, know this..once a Southerner holds the power, the north should bid government farewell.
The main goal is to emasculate them politically so they won't rise again.
