What you read was not a political campaign promises. But a sure promise from God who it's impossible for him to lie.
The almighty God through the Bible have given a notice what will be the outcome for wicked persons. No human efforts no matter how well intended will end terrorism and it's associate fall out.

Remove Islam and terrorism ends by itself. there's no point in diverting resources to combat boko haram and jihad, just deport the people that enable those groups to exit to somalia since northern nigeria already has sharia imposed making the region pretty much completely uninhabitable to live in
