Catholic was started by rebels against the Roman Empire and includes a lot of rituals, sorry, sacraments, a titular head (Pope), and lots of oils and incense and stuff. Both are way more dignified than these modern pentacostal and envangelical churches where there's far more shouting and dancing than is necessary to prove your point that you're a Christian. For me, it seems the more of a nuisance you are on a Wednesday night, the closer to God you become. Songs tend to be Nigerian in origin, with a nice beat, though the experience is marred by the loud sounds of humble bragging, incessant begging for undeserved favor, and the incomprehensible languages being invented on the spot.

And don't get me started on those who wear all white, walking down the street disturbing the peace.

They are both orthodox churches. Anglican (Church of England) broke away from Catholic (Church of Rome) on doctrinal group. Anglican liturgy still reflect some aspects of Catholic. Anglican is more "pentecostal" in preaching and some aspects of worship than Catholic. The difference continues
