Hi everyone, I'm interested in building a three bedroom flat in Ibadan.

With the current hike in everything in Nigeria, like how much should I have in mind to cover the building cost from scratch, that includes Purchase of land, acquisition of the necessary documents and the building cost itself.

I'm looking at a range of 5-6million Naira.

Please experts are needed to give their view.

What's the difference between the red brick and the normal cement blocks?

The red bricks is stronger, cheaper, cost effective and more appealing compared to blocks as it requires little or no plastering. A regular brick cost #120 while an interlock brick which requires nomortar for joining is #150.
