The Nigerian Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has on Friday 9th July, 2021, said that the federal government was going to use commonsense strategy in lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty. ayokinews.com reports

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, made this known while speaking at the National Steering Committee of the National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy at the Presidential Villa, on Friday in Abuja.

It should be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari, had on June 22nd, 2021, innaugurated a committee with the task of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty.

The actualisation of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in ten years has started already and one of such is the ESP chaired by Osinbajo ,MSME clinics etc

There is need for strategic and sustainable initiative to achieve the goal, so that even when other governments come, there won't be reason to scrap it.
