So, you can't judge or instantly like the new HMs (if indeed they are the next HMs for real) based on cropped up images till we get to see them in their full glory or hear them speak in their introductory videos. Passport-like images won't elicit any iota of buzz about any unknown HM.

I said the buzz first started before the show. Some people on twitter already started looking at the beautiful and handsome guys and ladies. Nengi, Erica, Ozo Kidd and Dorathy. I was on twitter throughout that period.

After their pictures and names came out, People started looking up their profiles on IG and Twitter.
