Euros are not a true measure of how well a team will do in the next world cup tho. France won Euro 2000, got knocked out in World cup 2002, Greece won in 2004, and did not qualify for 2006 world cup, and recently Portugal won in 2016, and 2018 world cup...nowhere.

Sancho and Rashford would have broken up that Bonucci-Chiellini wall of steel, and could have helped end the game early on.

If it came down to spot kicks, even a secondary school coach in Ibadan would know that those guys would crumble under pressure compared to old timers like Henderson, Walker, and even Sterling... So, why bring them in to fail woefully?!! Southgate is not serious!

As for Man United... They need to get a top hungry striker, and they are good. Their signings haven't been bad so far. Sancho will come good... He has age and time on his hands.

If you read the game well, England was good in the air so Italy brought the ball down and kept it there, Italy was able to navigate well with Verratti tonight.
