I have explained earlier how easy it's to hold the Copa America every single year if they wanted. It is common sense. 10 indefatigable footballing nations. Extra two could be invited elsewhere to make up 12. No qualifications. They're already good to go.

But same is impossible in Euro and AFCON. Over 50 nations vying for a place. Takes a minimum of 3 years to complete qualifications.

Yes, Mbappe might win the Balon d'Or. He still has time. By the time he really peaks, Messi and Ronaldo would have declined.

Neymar, on the other hand, is 28. Messi and Ronaldo still have at least 2 years of top football left in them. By the time they leave the top stage, Neymar would be 30 or 31.
