erico2k2: That is exactly what it is but 3rd world mentality will call it a crime. There are women pregnant with babies they don't want to keep and there are mothers to be who want those babies. Somewhere are men who impregnated those women. They may even be on nairaland running their mouths. There should be a way to do surrogacy legitimately like in developed countries without criminalizing it. The alternative is that the babies end up in pit latrines and rubbish dumps dead. As long as the government refuses to rise up to its responsibility and provide legitimate means where these pregnant mothers can be taken care of and babies legitimately adopted, this will continue and in other quarters babies will be found in dumpsters. |

neyoohhh: We know those Baby factories are owned by criminal syndicates which are comprised of mostly men. They probably just pay those women to take care of the girls. Do you expect the men to take care of the girls? |

In the USA "Worldwide Surrogacy Specialists offers our surrogates generous compensation, starting with a base compensation of $35,000 to $55,000. We work with our surrogates to develop a compensation package that's fitting to their unique situation based on their insurance, experience, and requests" https://www.worldwidesurrogacy.org/en/ |

igbowoman: This isn't surrogacy, it's exploitative baby factory as the title suggests. If it was surrogacy, there won't be a need to throw babies in latrines because there won't be babies to start with. This are criminal elements deliberately coarsing vunerable poor women to have babies for the sole purpose of selling them to all manner of people. Ritualists, useless women who spent their youths aborting and other crazies. There's no ethical structure, the women are raped, ill treated, locked up like animals and paid peanuts for a sacrifice that could cost them their lives. So as your name implies...
