INEC said “we have capacity to transmit results electronically”... But APC sabi pass INEC. You hired an engineer who said he can sand fill an ocean and give you a befitting structure and you are making baseless argument. The last time I checked I don’t even think the Card Reader machines use data but normal network. Death to APC |

Even if we don't have the capacity at the moment, does anything forbid the APC led FG from working towards ensuring that the required platform is made available before 2023? But clearly they aren't sincere. |

Why wouldn't the telecoms say they have it...they want to make money on fed government contracts. Btw, i am not in support of private companies helping to conduct our elections. |

| Re: Telcos Contradict APC, Insist We Have Capacity For Electronic Transmission Of Re by Nobody: 11:10pm On Jul 16, 2021 |
jmoore:With firewood. Look data is not free of charge so you think it is right for a union of telecommunications companies to conduct election....dont worry they will charge you to vote. Government need to create an independent infrastructure for e voting and should not put our voting systems into the hands of some private cartels |

thebosstrevor1:No one is talking about E-voting, there is some level of transparency in voting as voters most-times guard their votes till it's all counted.. The transmission can be backed up with Inec/voters approved signed uploaded Physical form Ec02 to verify.. Is that too hard? |
| Re: Telcos Contradict APC, Insist We Have Capacity For Electronic Transmission Of Re by Nobody: 11:16am On Jul 17, 2021 |
Esseite:You acting like they haven't used electronic voting before. During Buhari's first election, there was electronic voting, your voters card and finger print where used to vote. So you think their wasn't irregularities when compling results and you think they didn't manipulate result?? |

thebosstrevor1:There was not e-voting in 2015, it was just card reader accreditation and regular voting. If Polling units upload their verified results online on Inec portal in the witness of same voters that voted alongside an uploaded copy of result sheet.. where would irregularities come in? |

| Re: Telcos Contradict APC, Insist We Have Capacity For Electronic Transmission Of Re by naijapips02: 11:43am On Jul 17, 2021 |
agabusta:Its about transmission not voting. Meaning that at every point, Nigerians can monitor votes from the different pooling units at the close of voting. Makes it very difficult to rig in a massive scale. |
