Odewaleadesoye:They should continue sharing money, how will Nigeria develop with this ridiculous model? Some states that generate next to nothing will also be part of this sharing! That is why some people are against restructuring. This country is just a waste of space #Eatwhatyoukill 2 Likes |

A country were the blind is selected to show direction to the sighted. This is the only thing they know to do in this country...share money, borrow money, loot money and deal with / kill anyone that stands in the way of the status quo. |

All the money is apart of the 750 Million Naira security votes for each states. With tens of millions going to each Local Government Chairman, talking about security issue alone. Shut up! Loooonatic hustler!! Restructuring is the way forward not sharing of federal allocation. You can never manage properly what you did not work for 1 Like |

Uniswap: Of all the people that posted in the front page, it's only you that asked this very important question. On what ground will North East be given extra 4.63 billion naira?? The other day buhari dashed billions of naira to Katsina his home state, and one begins to wonder why collective wealth or even wealth that belong to another is taken from them and given to others based on nepotism and bigotry!! So, NE foisted Boko Haram on themselves which has cost billions of dollars in the name of buying arms and ammunition and other logistics yet the federal government still went ahead to be allocating additional billions of naira to them?? Local governments get similar allocations to what states get but Kano alone has 44 local governments, similar to Katsina and other arid states which means the governors will still get extra billions of naira!! Southerners are fools!!! 2 Likes |

This amount is just too small, too small. This is a pittance for a country of Nigeria's size and economy. This amounts to about $1.8bn a month or $21b a year. The last time I checked, New York city city's budget was $75bn. This is a city with 8m inhabitants. Sadly, despite the meagre sums, what is spent is misspent (bloated civil service comes to mind) This figure amounts to about 5% of the economy. It should be a not be anything less than 18% at this stage. The country has a long way to go. 3 Likes 1 Share |
