Ibkhaleel:
All governors of your states have been Igbo. None but Igbo has represented you in the National Assembly and all ministers from your states have been you. Is there a ministry in Nigeria which an Igbo man has not headed?

Whereas other Nigerians, especially northerners, find it difficult to own land or landed properties in the South East, major viable towns in both the North and South of the country have your brothers as major landowners. A lot of big businesses and the hospitality sector are Igbo-dominated as well.
Now, what position has Ndigbo not held? Even for the president, has every tribe produced one?

Your obsession with the Igbos is driving you bonkers. What has this comment got to do with the topic?

They should continue sharing money, how will Nigeria develop with this ridiculous model? Some states that generate next to nothing will also be part of this sharing!
That is why some people are against restructuring.
This country is just a waste of space

A country were the blind is selected to show direction to the sighted.

This is the only thing they know to do in this country...share money, borrow money, loot money and deal with / kill anyone that stands in the way of the status quo.

All the money is apart of the 750 Million Naira security votes for each states. With tens of millions going to each Local Government Chairman, talking about security issue alone.

Y'all should keep shouting Buhari Upandan while your governors, local government chairmen, councilors continue looting your lives and the lives of your unborn kids right in front of you

Truth is not bitter, just that people are bitter to the truth.

They have been blinded by Hatred and bitterness,
So they can never listen to sane minded individuals like you.
Even if a bench in their village market got broken, it is still Buhari they will be shouting.

4.63 Billion to north east devt commission?
To do what?

Summary of one Nigeria
Sharethemoneycracy

Next

Of all the people that posted in the front page, it's only you that asked this very important question. On what ground will North East be given extra 4.63 billion naira??

The other day buhari dashed billions of naira to Katsina his home state, and one begins to wonder why collective wealth or even wealth that belong to another is taken from them and given to others based on nepotism and bigotry!!

So, NE foisted Boko Haram on themselves which has cost billions of dollars in the name of buying arms and ammunition and other logistics yet the federal government still went ahead to be allocating additional billions of naira to them??

Local governments get similar allocations to what states get but Kano alone has 44 local governments, similar to Katsina and other arid states which means the governors will still get extra billions of naira!!

Southerners are fools!!!

Any state that's still suffering from unemployment and lack of infrastructure should hold its governors accountable.it baffles me what exactly they are doing with all these funds.

Good question, but many don’t want to make the critical inquiry, to them blaming the President is their answer.

But the governors will tell you there is no money on ground. Truth is, this country is a scam, leadership is our greatest problem.
Salaries will take 95% of that money. Nigeria is bankrupt because no leader will take steps to offload the work force by creating enabling environment for entrepreneurs to succeed.
Who needs government job if there is constant power? Food stamps, free or cheap bus to and from work?, Cheap accessible health care.

They know all this but their greed has blind them.

This amount is just too small, too small. This is a pittance for a country of Nigeria's size and economy. This amounts to about $1.8bn a month or $21b a year. The last time I checked, New York city city's budget was $75bn. This is a city with 8m inhabitants.

Sadly, despite the meagre sums, what is spent is misspent (bloated civil service comes to mind)

This figure amounts to about 5% of the economy. It should be a not be anything less than 18% at this stage. The country has a long way to go.
