A young Nigerian man identified simply as Olumas has allegedly drowned after he got into difficulty while swimming in the sea in Libya, Reports.

Facebook user, Farashola Oluwashindara Who Notified On Facebook, said the incident happened on Friday, July 16 and warned Nigerians against swimming in the sea.

We lost him yesterday when swimming. Suddenly he drowned at gigarage sea. Pls let's stop bathing inside water. This is Libya not Nigeria. This people are wicked. They will not do anything when it happens. Assuming they helped yesterday we might not have lost him, Learnt.

So pls my people let be careful. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Any time I hear News as this, I get angry and mad at the fact that some folks somewhere have all it takes and means to make this clime a better place but No, Evil and wickedness is just their DNA. my other anger goes to Nigerians who are just so weak, cowards and docile to demand what should be theirs.

I guess if we should start with 10million Nigerians atleast storming the street, it'll be a first step in the right direction

swimming in the sea or ANYWHERE is dangerous... let alone in rivers and lakes. if you dont know how to swim, abeg stay away from these places until your properly learn how to swim

He should rest in peace, all the same.

If you fail to respect river and sea, you can pay with your life. Even people who can swim can drown let alone non-swimmers. Some Nigerian yoots still think swimming is about strength and muscle. In fact, the more muscular you are the more likely you are to drown.
