Hyundai Sonata is quite reliable if used decently, it comes with an i4( 4 cylinder) engine hence fuel consumption is moderate.
Car parts ain't readily available so they costs a little above the concentional toyota car parts.

In addition avoid the 2011 model. Prone to unexpected engine failure

I have 2 colleagues in my office that uses this 2011 model since 2015 and no major repairs.

As far as the vehicle is concerned, one changed the condenser once while the other person changed his 2 front absorber.

I don't know of ac failure or any other fault ooooo.

Oga Op, if you have the vehicle history and you are ready to use the service of Hyundai or Kia for your maintenance, you are good to go.

The car is reliable and have readily available parts. very reliable.

It happens from this generation of 2011 to 2014 model,its other brand that shares same engine including its kia brother and its prone to untimely AC failure even after fixing ..Il advise you avoid it and look for another reliable brand

Please do your own google research on this opinion. The GDI engines are prone to failures. Don't rush into it until you've satisfied yourself.
