Voodoo deals with demons. You control them to do your biddings but at a price. Even leaf have their own demons, the right words with give control of it. Like I opined yesterday more than half of those commenting are worse than the incumbents, I may be wrong but a survey will prove that.
A neighbor of mine had breast cancer and a cash donation of was made to her in the sum of #500k but what get to her was less than the actual amount unfortunately the woman lost her life before her son received the amount. A relative of mine was kidnapped sometimes in 2015 and when she was released and investigation completed it was discovered that her driver who she treated like her son masterminded the kidnapping, the woman couldn't recover from the shock and suffered serious mental illness that led to her death in 2019. I could go on and on list the atrocities of Nigerians who did evil despite having no reason to do so in this kind of place where evil minded people abound in large numbers, how do you expect our leaders who are members of our society to be good?

Imagine them trying to rationalize the nonsense. Sometimes I think we deserve the kind of leaders we have sef cos we followers are not different.

You are right. There has always been a debate as to whether Nigeria has a leadership problem or a followership problem; more like which comes first, the chicken before the egg or the egg before the chicken.

Personally I think bad followership breeds bad leadership. A leader is supposed to be the best amongst the people given the responsibility to lead, direct, organize and control the affairs of the followers. In this part of the world we do give the responsibility to people who are no close to the best, whether this is done in error or intionally.....we tend to justify the failure of the leader instead of challenging them and possibly working out ways to have them replaced.

In fact some of us are only concerned about getting a share out of whatever the leaders have stolen and then we go to any length to defend them.....we even call other people names for not joining us in worshipping the leaders.
