Desperate joker..Tgis should be in the outskirts of the city plus google images cannot be trusted since they barely update their images .so get us YouTube videos to drive ur point home else 85%-90% of Abuja city road is tarmac.this is just a fact.

I have seen right inside the CBD - you find a skyscrapper like that WTO - and the roads are unpaved. That is why all they can show is one highway.

Abuja outside the main higways look more like Niamey, Bangui and Juba. The inner roads right to the CBD are absent; You'll find a skscryapper in the middle of what looks like Athi River or Ruai or Kitengela.

Who hell allowed all those buildings to go up without a tarmac road?

My respect to this city is slowly dwindling as I dig further. This is pathetic for a country of 200,000+ population with minerals.

Your YouTubers can't cover the rest of the city cause they know it looks like that. African traveller has covered all the outskirts town and they're miles ahead of what you have in your City Centre, talk less of the outskirts (let's not go there )

Outside the Potemkin village at the middle of the city - is swatches of slums by the local community and immigrants who cannot find decent housing.

Absolutely; Kikuyu gave the perfect description; it's precisely like communist era Russia's Potemkin villages or North Korea's Pyongyang - which on face value appears to be a great city but dig a little deeper; you will find a failed city with millions living in slums; and with business districts; without any paved inner roads
