A lot of sellers here may not actually understand what a clearance sale is in reality, hence the prices they fix to items, of which some are even way above current market prices. We have also called out several sellers here on this particular issue and some have heeded to the correction. This is a clearance thread and nothing else! But what me I don't understand is, people who know that an item is already more than reasonably priced for a clearance sale item, yet still go ahead to offer ridiculous prices! Isn't it wickedness or what can we call it? If an item originally sells for ₦100,000, and the same item (brand new) is advertised here for ₦50,000 ( which is almost ridiculous), a few elements knowing the value of the item will still chat you up and offer prices like ₦10,000 or ₦15,000! I get it. Things aren't easy at all. But that you can't afford an item clearly on clearance sale is not the sellers fault. And doesn't mean you won't be able to in the future. If you remain active, you'll surely find something you can afford soon... But trying to 'blackmail' sellers into selling an item at a price to fit within your budget all in the name of clearance is sheer wickedness. If you wouldn't want a seller to take advantage of you, then don't do likewise. Yes some items may seem more of a steal for their advertised price than others, and items have also been given away totally for free here, but it's all at the discretion of the seller. Thorby: If an item is discontinued, it means its production ended. E.g. Toyota Venza If an item has a new model, then it was not discontinued. Na wa oo. More comprehension issues. People arguing blindly without actually understanding. Hmmm 4 Likes |
