Racism in the Mediterranean region (Which Italy is part of) is something else, they consider people in other regions as either too dark or too white therefore looking down upon such people, coupled with the fact that they've built great civilizations in the past they belittle those outside their group with little or no provocation.
Another area where racism is rife is Middle East even those who ascribe to Islam practice racism despite the opposition of the religion to racism.
Back to the topic, racism is a societal problem not a sporting one and gesturing in stadia won't solve the problem if people are not properly educated about the issue in their homes, schools and punished for being racists.

I'm surprised a powerful article like this didn't make waves when initially released. Systemic racism? Maybe. This was very insightful.

Systemic racism is the greatest obstacle to eliminating racism. Notice how rudigers continually called out the press for it's role in fuelling racist rethoric?

In almost all other sports you still see that the women are athletic and extremely fit.
It is only in football that even some of the best female footballers look sluggish and unathletic.
It is worse with the goalkeepers. Those ones usually dive as if they are pregnant.

He looks like he can be drafted to play DM. He looks too short as a CB for me.

The free kick was well executed.. I have seen worse free kick goals in men's football.

The two team are sluggish though. The Zambians footballers just booting the ball anywhere they like.

Netherland is one favourite for gold though.
