timay:True but the case of this goal, the Funny GK dived and couldn't get hand on the ball. Wished Bandas cored for the Zambia though |

Ibime:For his height, he's slow. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by TheLequte: 2:42pm On Jul 27, 2021 |
Odunharry:The free kick was executed well but it wasn’t a shot. That’s why I said it wasn’t fast. The wall didn’t jump and it was inches away from the GK. You don’t see that kinda sequence in men’s football. The two teams were sluggish. Zambia got a defender sent off early on and had their hopes pinned on Barbara Banda. She’s got 6 goals in their last 2 games but they’re still rooted to the bottom of the table. Wished she scored today. The highest scorer, Netherland’s Miedema, has 8 goals to her name now. They’ll probably win it but I think Sweden can stand up to them. |

The decision to allow for women participation in football is political, bowing to pressure from feminists the physiology of a woman doesn't allow for her participation in physically daunting endeavor like contact sports. Men do sacrifice a lot to play the sport and to accommodate women participation the bar was lowered for them, and we ended up having an unenjoyable sport. |

Amoto94:You can't call Kounde slow o. He is actually well suited to playing as RCB in a 3 man defence. |

BlueAngel444:In a 3CBs, we have Reecy, Azpi, Sarr, Rudiger, Christensen, Zouma, Silva. Why should Zouma leave? Let's even sell Zouma, Sarr has joined. If it doesn't break don't fix it. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Odunharry(m): 3:00pm On Jul 27, 2021 |
TheLequte:For the free kick though, the people in front of the GK didn't do well.. The red card too affected them despite playing with 10men, was expecting Brazil to score more than a goal but they didn't. Doubt Sweden can take the Netherlands.. The reason I like this Dutch female team is because they know where the back of the net is.. Gold medal can go anywhere. Let's just watch. US and Brazil isn't leaving up to expectations so far... |

afrodoc2:I don't want a system player knowing that the club can decide to fire at any time and sign a new coach who may not know what to do with such player. He excelled in Sevilla because La Liga is not that physical and the pace is slower than EPL. |

Amoto94:Kounde is not slow...Watch Sevilla games and you'd see him advance with the ball at pace, he is not slow... |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by afrodoc2: 3:11pm On Jul 27, 2021 |
Amoto94:He is well suited to playing as a RCB but he can also play as CB and RB. I agree that his height might be an issue (as a CB not RCB) but i don't get why you think he is slow. He is quite fast and definitely quicker than most of the CBs in the Premier League. |

airmark:If you don't maintain it, it will break Reason with me, Cesar is 31years old and primary a good full back, plus we don't have more options at RB/RWB other than James and to an extent Odoi and now Sterling. Silva is 37, do we wait till next season and sign, or we sign now and slowly let him adjust to EPL. You left Ampadu out, and I do not want Zouma to leave especially if Tuchel decides to shift back to four at the back, I don't trust Rudiger in a back four but it's either Rudiger or Zouma and as it seems Zouma is leaving. In the long run a back four of James, Kounde, Christensen, Chilwell wouldn't be bad to have in Chelsea. I don't know Sarr or how good he is, but with a 3CB we would still have room for him Kounde/Ampadu Christensen/Silva Rudiger/Sarr |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Amoto94(m): 3:26pm On Jul 27, 2021 |
Trevor012:Wasn't there pressure from feminists in Spain and other countries to allow for the inclusion of women in football? Was the standard of training not lowered for females? If these aren't facts then go and sleep |

Since Batshuayi seems to be leaving, 20m on a top 10 striker, Belotti, won't be bad. This may force Dortmund's hand to sell Haaland. ![]()

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by hensben(m): 3:38pm On Jul 27, 2021 |
airmark:Yeah his height and also his positioning is suspicious. Probably to play when Silva is not available due to age. Rudiger Christensen Kounde. We have two aged players at the back remember. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Nobody: 3:45pm On Jul 27, 2021 |
Chelsea will have the shortest back 3 in top football, Ampadu, Kounde, Sarr 180cm all of them fast and good with the ball |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Nobody: 3:47pm On Jul 27, 2021 |
hensben:and he has good jump power and pace to recover his position, anyway another Manager could turn him into a RB or DM later |

Chelsea and Tuchel’s first choice targets this summer (as reported by a combination of sources): • ST: Erling Haaland. • DM: Declan Rice. • CB: Jules Koundé. |

Amoto94:This piece is deep, insightful, detailed and thought provoking. The man has been shouldering the struggles of his skin color from different stages of his life. I think the part that saddened me the more wasn't even his experience in Italy, it was his experience in Germany, his presumed home, when he tried to help an older woman struggling with her grocery bags based on the unwritten code of respect. The fear and apprehension in the woman's face! Truth of the matter is that there is no true resolve to manage Racism in sports and other spheres of life sustainably. What people do behind the screens of Social Media is really who they are and until the government and others who are not affected by it begin to clamp down heavily, there will be no change. Racism is not going anywhere, infact, the younger generation who are the generation of Social Media are already controlling the narrative. I was discussing with @Chic2pimp about how the English media will manage Saka/Rashy/ Sancho when the league starts and he assured me everyone including the media will move on but to be honest, I am not trusting that. I told him I will wait until after a year or two and see how the narrative is told in the media when one of those players miss a penalty or goes on a bad run of form. People have to start taking responsibilities..enough of the talk and kneeling down, it has achieved its aim but will not resolve the problem. |
