I often wondered how god was able to speak to adam, anybody that has tried to study the origin of human communication, will tell you that it wasn't an easy journey for humans, language didn't appear out of thin air, language is man made creation, which language does god speak and if he speaks ours, why is a supreme being obeying the grammatical structure of our means of communication?

Faith on the other hand encourages irrationalism. You are literally told to believe even if you don't see the object of that belief.
Religion and science simply can't go hand in hand because religion is impervious to evolution. Unlike our constitution which is the basis of our constructed society which constantly is reviewed and evolves, the bible is static and has already affixed standards (though contradictory at times).

Organized religion is detrimental to our society.

How could you say science and faith go well together when religious people, especially Christians and Muslims, killed thousands of early scientists and philosophers in different parts of Europe and Africa (especially Egypt)?

In the past, religious people saw scientists as possessed people, witches and wizards. (Sadly, Africa is still in this dark age.)

Then in Europe, every invention, not mentioned in the Bible and Qur'an, was seen as devilish.
