When looked at its obvious why those three players missed.

Rashford and Sancho were hauled off the bench having played barely one full game between themselves the entire tournament. They were clearly not looking confident and Rashford has said as much.

Saka should not have been put in that position at all either. The youngest by fair, just started playing international football, and asked to take the most critical penalty of the past 55 years for his country.

Immediately Henderson and Walker or was it Trippier was removed, I knew England no fit make am, wonder what Southgate was thinking to have brought in such young lad for PK when penalty most times is dependent on confidence rather than skills, the older a player gets, the more confident they are, even if they have no pace or skill.
