One quick question for culture historians - does the 'ndi' prefix on a village's name indicate that such village was an aro diaspora settlement? |

ANON333:In many cases, yes. But not in all cases. Eha Ndiagu near Nsukka are not an Aro diaspora village. |

Okay, thank you @redbonesmith. There are vestiges of lost Aros almost everywhere in the south east enclave, and most of them have the prefix 'ndi'. Your example though starts with 'eha' but it's still something. |

I saw a thread on front page today where a list of ohafia's towns were mentioned. I counted at least five 'ndis', and it surprised me cause I expected that ohafia and aros were in league - so why occupy their enclave? Or are those 'ndis' in ohafia non-aros? |
