I don't disagree with your point of view especially because it is no fault of hers. However, this is about promoting a level playing field for everyone in the competition and the process for inclusion is available. I just ask the IAAF to be very clear and open about the process.

I absolutely do recall and anticipated this conversation. The IOC is threading a slippery slope, a troubling one on a personal level for me.

But from all indications, the IOC followed my thoughts from this conversation to the T! They ensured Hubbard met low testosterone levels which means her levels were nothing close to that of Semanya’s.

Remember you wondered/ questioned if there would be process to test levels and I told you it would be only fair to do this.

The process was open, however, you can see competing teams have serious problems with this situation.

Competition has to be fair.

When I saw the Hubbard case, our conversation came to mind but I have not had much time to engage you on it

I am not a cell biologist but where i becomes a slippery slope for me is that a man e.g C.Ronaldo who has had high testosterone all his life and has built some muscle memory and skills based off of that, if you now get him to reduce his testosterone for some months, you still wont erase all he knows and has conditioned his body to do for the past 36yrs of his life.
An average man is stronger and is built physically differently. I am not sure few months of testosterone therapy equalizes the lifelong advantage

Its like a butter boy like Davido trying to claim say he be street to get some acceptance in music, Street Davido wey get chauffer all his life and go private school, he is going to deny the genuine street that didnt get those advantages he had growing up

Similar to what Chimamanda argued that being a trans woman, cannot equate your experience and struggles(say 2yrs of hormone therapy) with that of a woman of over 30yrs who has had that hormone all her life

Outside of building muscle, testosterone is responsible for strength levels and elevated drives. Ronaldo's body may have been conditioned for the past 36 years, however, it is important to remember that he achieved this conditioned state using the prior testosterone level and that was what he used to maintain that conditioned level. Muscle memory/ workout habit/ routine will not be enough to help Ronaldo maintain his currently conditioned muscle. A conscious reduction will significantly affect his ability to maintain his levels.

In men, except in very rare cases, our testosterone levels drop by 1% after the age of 30 and that affects your ability in different aspects of live. What you were able to do in your 20's and early 30's may become challenging in comparison to your late 30's upwards. For the records, I am with Chimamanda on her position in regards to womanhood/motherhood.

Surely conscious hormone therapy will reduce Ronaldos abilities, Maybe make Lewandowski better than him but will it reduce Ronaldo enough to make the best of female footballers who has been operating on this reduced testosterone all her life catch up with what he has learnt and been ingrained in him for over 30yrs?

I don't think he has been disengaged from the Police Force. He was only relieved from his position as head of the IRT. The Nigerian Police Force is obviously under immense pressure and are struggling to manage this situation.
