So I have regrets
It visited me again today
Dressed in the same regalia of yesterday
Had me on sit while he played me a detailed review of my past.

So I have regrets
A cruel tormentor of my present
Playing me tunes after tunes of distress
Threatening to tear my peace apart at regular intervals.

See i have regrets
It lives in my head
Waiting to trigger at the slightest excuse.
And leave me helplessly on my fours.

See i have regrets
A dissertation of everything I couldn't do
A thiesis of things I could but I didn't do
The remembrance of things I did but failed to see through.

So I have regrets
Regrets of what could have been
What I would have made
The life I would have lived.

Yes I have regrets
And it's not a case of everything I did wrong
But everything I did not do
Because i knew I lost a chance of either gaining from the joys of victory, or learning from the anguish of loss.
