This reminded me of a situation between Eric and Lilo back then. Lilo should have simply told off Eric who had probably believed he was the hot take and could do whatever he liked. He would do rubbish in t & d game whereas Lilo would keep it cool yet he would still be the one shadowing her around while Lilo would keep sucking up his bullshit. Lilo was the one who was always getting trolled by the viewers back then. Lilo was even angry at one point and had sent him away from her bed but he wouldn't budge and would keep sending Neo to her and before you know it, Lilo would start sucking up to him once again.
