That's what happens when people fail to understand government is a continum,many people have died in this country because a new government comes in and decides to cancel a contract and hand the same project to it's cronies.
I know it wasn't Gen Buhari that cancelled the contract but Government at all levels must stop this nauseating habit of thinking they can cancel an agreement with a company just because the previous government in power has chopped all the bribe.
We know anytime they do their nonsensical project valuation of any contract it's just a term for adding more bribes to be wacked,that's better than cancellation of the entire contract.

Worse still the Chinese bank will provide 85% of the funding for the project which we will have to repay.

Talk about misplaced priorities! We are already struggling to transmit the power being generated currently because our transmission infrastructure is in dire need of renovation and upgrade. Instead of addressing this we are taking loans to build more power generation plants.
