Many of those are corporate sponsors. This show wouldn’t be on if they hadn’t signed up. It isn’t Multichoice’s money that runs the show. It is the sponsorship money.

we have a name for these set of corporate sponsors in my place of work.
They are called bag holders. In this case because they paid a lot. To get first rights to a flop. Now other sponsors won't jump in until multi choice lowers their prices
