So bold and daft. Imagine them comparing NIN to Social Security Number, do they know the benefits that come with having a SSN?
And the reason why we cannot have benefits from NIN like SSN is because Nigeria is not willing to pay the tax for it plus we don't have the GDP for it. Also, being on basic income from SSN shows you are really really broke, and it may not be enough to sustain one. |

Imagine you walk into an Immigration office to apply for an international passport.
You are asked for information verifying your identity and you just give them a number and instantly the Immigration officials connect to the National Identity Database – all your required information appears on their computer screen.
They can only see information they are authorised to see.
Done, your identity is verified – no need to go get extra documents, spend more money, just to prove who you are.
That is the convenience provided by your NIN.
This is synonymous with Social Security Number (SSN), if you don't have that in some countries abroad, you will just be living like a corpse, without being able to do anything in life, a corpse will even be better than your as$!
It’s the same thing when you go to process a driver’s licence, you would only need to present your NIN and your identity would be verified.
This is how it is done in saner climes we all want to emulate.
We will surely get there someday soon.

Then, north will realise their mistakes. My people in the north will regret the years of backwardness. South West first made Amotekun without war. They didnt go about it like how ibo did it. South south is about to create theirs too. From this Amotekun, it is clear state police will start. And if that happens, state or regional military will too. So that the military power of the north will be broken. This is where they are cheating us. That military power. And look at what SW is doing again, clamoring for Supreme courts in all regions. Is this not division already? Lol. It's good Nmadi Kanu and Sunday Ighoho continue what they are doing. They are just making educated people come up with solutions underground. By the time we have: state police, regional supreme courts, deregulation of resources, trust me....many more will come. And Abuja will gradually lose its grip on Nigeria. Abuja that Babangida forcefully forced on Nigerians to make north override everyone will be dethroned. And finally, NIN will be improved that our data cannot be easily manipulated. I want to see how the north will register kids, cows and import machineries from Niger to counter the south during ekections.
