Bro, u are not getting it, I am simply against the double standard style of hisbah police and their hypocrisy. Who is even deceiving who? According to Islam's rule on how women should dress, this lady's wedding dress violets the rule but hisbah will turn a blind eye now just because of who she is. If she was a poor lady from a poor background now, hisbah would swing into action. As a matter of fact, your elites and educated ones among u are living like westerners, the poor ones are the ones being forced to follow all these your laws. Come to Dubai or Abu Dhabi and see how your elites dress and live life whenever they come here or travel out of the country. Go to some places in Abuja and see how they live life.

I think people should Stop over criticizing these ones.. Their double standards approach to these things is infuriating but folks should ignore them...Recently some of their elites have started embracing modernity and liberal lifestyles. Go to Abuja and see the same set of people that used to advocate cave existence as the surest route to heaven now living in lavish mansions.. It should be encouraged! Rather than reminding them of how the poor in their society still lives, the poor should also be encouraged to join the new cultural trend.

What I have come to believe in, is that in the far North, cultural trends are set by the elites and the funny looking "royals". It's very amusing to see nigerian christian always using nigerian northerners as yardstick for islam, not minding that islam was brought to the hausa and they have their way of life before islam which they still hold on to. Nigeria christian always profess to hate islam but will jump at the opportunity to travel to Malaysia, Dubai, Qatar etc. The law of God cannot change because one girl decided to expose her body in the name of elite. Covering up for us Muslim women is joy, it has been proven that women gain more confidence as soon as they start wearing hijabs . And there are many ways to wear it and look beautiful, it's like you are always a bride and you get respect from men everywhere you go. This is apart from the spiritual benefits which are numerous, christians may not need so many deliverances if only they will cover up and many men will prosper easily if their wives cover up more to mention a few. And before you talk about poverty in the north think of the tremendous riches of other islamic nation, we all know that many northerners are dirty, they live with filth and believe it's the duty of government to clean their environment, there is no amount of prayer that will bring the presence of Holy God to a dirty smelly body and environment, islam made that clear but like I said they have their way of life. Christians forced to wear hijab in the north?

I don't think so.There are Churches in the north and members do not wear hijab to worship. My Church has branches there.

I have stayed in the north. When I say force I don't literally mean they are force at gun point to wear hijab all the time.
But as a Christian going to a school own by Muslim will have to wear hijab, I'm not talking of Arabic school o, I'm talking of a normal secondary school.
Secondly u can't build church randomly in the north like in the south, they literally have to allot land for churches.
Like in jaga kebbi state, it's called church village, that the only place u can build a church in the whole local govt.
