If you really know how to read between the lines you should have understood that my worry is the future of the country as regard to the Democracy and national development. I personally want someone from the South to be the next president but if and only if they know how to play their card.

On the majority verdict that the choices of the APC NEC were an internal affair of the party, and therefore, non-justiceable, the dissenting justices declared that the appellants, who were seeking to protect the constitution from being contravened, have the locus standi to appear in court over the matter.

“It is an issue raising the violation or contravention of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. On this ground I will not hesitate to dismiss offhand, the contention that the appellants lack the locus standi or reasonable cause of action on which to found their petition because Section 1(1) of the constitution provides, inter alia that the ‘Constitution is supreme and its provisions shall have binding force on all authorities and persons throughout the Federal Republic of Nigeria,’” Eko said.

The majority judgment is an obvious contradiction for saying a party's NEC can do whatever it likes with the party while INEC can't make guidelines that it is empowered by the constitution to do

Either Buni lead committee is legal or illegal should not be what APC should be debating by now, they should rather try and avoid anything that can set them up for legal tussle in the future..

The price they will pay now for removing serving governors cannot be the same as the price they will pay in the future, if the court decides by then that Buni was holding illegal position and cancel all actions he has taken as APC chairman....That will be disastrous.

The AG wasn't the one Nigerians elected. PYO had better guide their mandate jealously before they lose all. I am sure the SC is watching to see if APC will make such a fatal flaw.

North versus the West

It's not that simple. Ondo would have gone the way of Zamfara yet both APC remain the ultimate loser. It's more of trying to solve the problem they created by sacking the democratically elected NWC in breach of their own constitution. They created the problem so should solve it. With the look of things, the mandate of the APC candidate in Anambra is already in problem and may forfeit the mandate if he wins since the form was signed by the current caretaker committee .

I think Anambra election will come before Ekiti. The APC candidate in Anambra is there literally carrying an empty kettle. The final winner of that Anambra election will be determined by the courts not by popular votes. The mandate of the candidates of all the leading parties have serious k legs. I see a dark horse emerging
