You are the bloody clown here.
How does Cubana's buying lands affect me?
People are buying lands and building on them every blessed day in Nigeria and you never made a damn comment about it till it got to Cubana.
Are people going to live on trees because you want to eat.
There are more than enough lands in Nigeria and the reason Nigeria wouldn't be able to feed well in the future has nothing to do with unavaliabity of lands. Land is not scarce in Nigeria so get off your butt, go and buy money and farm while you leave the likes of Cubana to do whatever they want with their money and land!!
Cubana is clearing off the land on an industrial scale.

That is the difference.
Other developers in foreign countries would replant, but I am sure he would not.

You are asking how does clearing the forests affect you?

You have just proven the narrow scope of your mind.

You must think that food and fresh air falls from the sky.

Places that are built up for accommodation and businesses, govt facilities today were once forest areas. Lands must be used.
Don't bring that scope of mind nonesense because you are the one with a delayed mindset.

There are enough lands in Nigeria to give you food and whatever you desire from nature. Miss me with this bullshit.

Yes, there were once forest areas, but the world has woken up to the current reality.

Deforestation, climate change, food scarcity, are the current realities that have made the world to change course and be more pragmatic about land development.

Nigeria is not even in the top 4 largest land mass in Africa alone even with your gigantic population that is ever ballooning.

And arable land in Nigeria is shrinking by the day.

Desertification from the north and land development in the South is eroding good lands.

Stop proving that black people can't think beyond their narrow present interests.

The world's population is growing rapidly.

Good arable lands are being lost to desertification and climate change.

We will always need good land.
Have you heard about vertical farming ? Nigeria is bigger than Netherlands but they export more agricultural produce than Nigeria. And they have the capacity to feed Nigeria for 5years. Browse about it. The game don change . Lmao

So mechanized farming is no more I guess. Since we don't need much land .

Vertical farming?

You have not even mechanized your farming and you are talking vertical farming.

If you lose all your lands which is providing food to your poor population at a subsistence level, you think you have the level of the technology to dramatically advance to vertical farming?

In a country with the world's worst governnace.

You are playing with hunger.

You are the one proving that Black people like you are wicked, jealous and only capable of showing fake concern.
You don't come up with these faux sermons when the govt and other capitalist are buying off lands to build things they can't maintain after some years but here you are gnashing your teeth and preaching faux conservation sermon because Cubana is buying lands as if lands are not acquired by the govt and investors on a daily basis for whatever they wish to do with it.

Cut this crap about conservation nonesense blah blah. Nobody has time for such nonesense.
Desertification can be fixed if Nigeria has sense, climate change can be managed, food scarcity in Nigeria can equally be fixed. Everything you have listed here has virtually nothing to do with people buying lands and building on it. Spare us this wailing and stop trying to sound intelligent while insulting others intelligence.

Still, there's no shortage of land in Nigeria. With the land mass in the north, hunger has been a recurring decimal there.

It's all about the usual hate from you guys.

There's a thread about how Tinubu made many Igbos billionaire by encouraging them to buy lands in the lekki corridor when it was still all swampy. You lots cheered and crowned him Czar for that gesture.
But I guess Obi Cubana doesn't have any right to put his money where his mouth is, just to make you happy.

Well, good luck!

You think everywhere is Lagos that has encroached into other states. Tinubu your Lord and savior is the richest landlord in Lagos, I guess he should have been the richest farmer in Lagos instead.

That person whoever he is needs to stop spewing nonesense and ignorance.
He is wailing about people buying lands but he wouldn't summon the courage to lobby the govt to move into more industrialized and advanced agriculture.
A lot of land in the North yet people are impoverished and hungry.
So people should not buy and build up because he is bothered about saving forest and lands that Nigeria can't even cultivate to produce adequate food regardless of the avalibility of lands at the moment. What nonsense.

When has Nigeria even produced enough food to feel itself or even export goods? A lot of things we eat today are imported yet one Ikorodu land conservationist is talking about conserving lands.

Brown roofs re asking where he will farm if he transforms all the forest, if everybody is farming whom will buy your farm produce? Not everybody can go in to farming and also not everybody can go into real estate.

The experiences of Nigerian farmers in this present day with killer fulani herdsmen won't even encourage anyone to invest in farming.

USA has more Real Estate and large cities like Nigeria but they have more food to feed Africa.
Are you saying development leads to less food production? The subsistence farming you’re talking about . How many people are into it ?

Infrastructure
Development does not lead to less food production.

You are a clown.

Cubana is buying off the lands that should feed you and rendering them useless in the name of homes.

Do you have money to import food?
You've been allover the thread saying rubbish. Man's basic necessities are food, clothing and shelter. That land in question was probably idle before he bought it. If he decides to use it to build houses that people will live in, how is that bad Mr Know All?

FYI, people still clear bushes to make way for housing even in the most advanced nations!

Stop hating unnecessarily, nobody stops you from buying your own land and using it for agriculture. There are still vast lands waiting for people to use for agriculture.

You sound so bitter!!
