THIS IS OBIGBO!
For 1,000s of years Obigbo was part of present day, Abia state, south of Imo river.
In 1976, as part Civil War settlement to Eastern Nigerian in the Island, Obigbo was expunged from IMO state (IMO & Abia) and added to Present Rivers state.
Obigbo was renamed to Oyibo by Justice Mamman Nadir led Fed boundary adjustment commission to cancel their actions.

Well the Federal Government is God in Nigeria, whatever they say is absolute, it belongs to Rivers State, issue closed.

Changing the name doesn't change the people living in it,i can speak Igbo well today because i lived in obigbo from 2002- 2004 in imo street and Andy avenue obigbo is a pure Igboland if ogonis get liver let them come and claim it..
