I am deeply saddened by this video. He was forcibly restrained like a cow being led to the slaughter. This to some extent shows how Nigerians are perceived beyond our shores. Our image is irredeemable and our pride is unsalvageable.

I do not know if this man has committed any crime, but I know for sure that it will take a long time for us to gain the respect of the international community.

Babani, a senior counsellor at the Nigerian Embassy in Jarkata was reportedly out shopping when he was confronted by the immigration officials who demanded for his papers.

He reportedly gave them his official identity card however it wasn't enough for the officials who reportedly dragged him out, hitting him as they forcefully tried to apprehend him.

Nigeria is finished!!! Imagine the kind of maltreatment a Consul of the so called Giant of Africa is facing, what then is the fate of a regular civilian visiting a foreign country? When you visit some countries, that's when you'll really understand how low Nigeria is. They don't respect us anymore. Our passport or ID is now worthless. The other day, Kenyans(can you imagine) were insulting us.

I think it is a treatment meted out to Blacks and not just Nigerians.

The man did not deserve to be treated like this whatsoever.
