You're absolutely correct, they had to let the sexual allegations stick and be the noose to tie him up. If they let the media cover the whole nursing home/ covid 19 deaths and Investigate the matter, a host of democrat governors will go down with him for the same crime and cover up.

They don't want that, so it's easier to make him resign on this issue than let the nursing home affect the 2022 mid term elections and subsequently 2024. You really are observant!
