I see Abuja can hold its own in terms of tourism these days.
In the last 5 years, the place has really developed more.
The pictures are great.
In the last 10 years it was only Asokoro, Maitama and Gwarinpa that has really developed. Now more cities has been built like Wuse, Wuse 2, Wuse Zone 6, jahi, jabi, garki, lifecamp etc. Abuja is very big.

Honestly I don’t really see the wrong in most of the things he highlighted.sure there where some that didn’t sit well with me but most places that he touched was just so unnecessary and irrelevant.I think it’s just western propaganda and jealousy. They should suck it up , Dubai is still better than newyork infrastructurally. Newyork and the rest of American society can only boast of a better political and economic system that Favours everyone including immigrants.

Construction of Lagos blue line rail.
I am pretty sure if this was Kenya this would be posted every single day.
I am also quite sure tracks should be more elevated than the so called Nairobi expressway way they keep yapping about.

As at the time of posting this video was just 7 hours old.

I see Tuskeys poster in that picture. Good old times. cheesy
I'm still wondering what led to Tuskeys' collapse not long after Nakumatt's collapse.

Kenya retail is still growing aggresively - Tuskys and Nakumatt - burnt themselves out - and new entrants have grown even bigger than they did. Naivas is heading 100 stores...already at 76...best Nakumatt and Tuksys ever did wa 65 stores
https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/business/financial-standard/article/2001419832/new-crop-of-retailers-banishes-nakumatt-and-uchumi-ghosts

However between 2021 and 2022, Kenya’s retail sector is expected to add 945,323 square feet of space with new projects already underway in Nairobi, Mombasa and Machakos.

Like anything in Nigeria - this will take 20yrs- that is why video was shot 7 yrs ago and construction is stalled.

2008: A metro is proposed for Lagos, allegedly with a completion date of 2011.
2009: Construction commences on the Blue Line.[2]
2010: Lagos Rail Mass Transit to proceed.[citation needed]
2016: Phase I (the Blue Line from Marina to Mile 2) planned to open in December 2016.
2018: After an Alstom review of the project, Phase I (the Blue Line from Marina to Mile 2) is now set to open in 2021.
2021: The Lagos State Government announces that the Blue and Red Lines will open in December 2022.[4]

The hilarious Nigeriaspeak

LAMATA is responsible for policy direction, regulation, and infrastructure for the network. The first section of the network (Phase I of the Blue Line) was Originally scheduled to be completed by the first quarter of 2014, it was however announced earlier this year that operations will officially start in December 2016, but presently the project is still ongoing, and there are reports that operation would not start until next year, 2017.
