Minister of state for labour and employment Festus Keyamo has taken to social media to mourn Mohammed, the first child of the late activist Gani Fawehinmi, Igbere TV reports.

Mohammed, 52, died in Lagos on Wednesday after a brief illness.

In a post on social media, Mr Keyamo (SAN) described Mohammed as “energetic and very intellectually alert”.

In a statement, lawyer and human rights activist Kayode Ajulo, described the late Mohammed as someone who stayed on course to the end.

He said Mohammed, “a comrade and a brother” would be missed.



Bukoladeremi Ladigbolu described the deceased as a “pleasant guy” and prayed to God to comfort the Fawehinmi family.

Mohammed had a terrible accident in 2003 in Lagos which affected his spinal cord. He was the head, Mohammed Fawehinmi’s Chambers.
