To say the story had no impact on the drawing, to say the story that INSPIRED the drawing, had no bearing on the judgment, is just somehow, I cannot even find the word to describe such a thing

EVERY PART OF THAT DRAWING WAS INSPIRED BY THE STOR. From the storms, the sunlight, the different colour gradings to reflect the darkness and the brightness that life takes us through, the thuderstorm, the puddles that we fall in while navigating difficult situations, the thorns and the blood shed, the continuous pushing of a heavy weight we carry, just to overcome. Every part of the painting, was to reflect that story.

If that story never existed, the drawing would never exist.
