Expressway is being funded through PPP, no loan has been taken to fund it.

Point number 2, there is nothing like red line project, it is a nonexistent project.

Point number 3, your blue line project started in 2011 - 10yrs ago. Click this link and enlighten yourself.

https://www.skyscrapercity.com/threads/lagos-urban-rail-blue-line-under-construction.1544028/
lol, so u decided to lump kikuyu1's stupidity and rvp's sheer ignorance on urself today.

Ok, the blue-line is not PPP, alright? undecided

Well, Its not necessarily important to tell u much about the red line since it started just a month ago... And ur opinion about it is also unimportant.

If u even like, say it started in 1985 when it was decided to be built.

The idiot is even asking me to click a skyscraper link to enlighten myself. angry

You can say what you want but that project is funded through PPP and it's worth $600m going by its quality.
Your project on the other hand, which was supposed to be completed in 2011, is still underway grin.
See...
"Construction of the Blue line was initially expected to be completed by 2011 but was delayed to 2020 due to funding issues. Alstom also partnered with LAMATA for the completion of Blue line."

Lagos rail mass transit system project
The first two lines of the urban light rail project are estimated to cost $1.4bn. The Red line will be 30km long and will run between Marina and Agbado. The Blue line will be 27km long, connecting Okokomaiko to Marina
.

Surprisingly, it's only blue line currently under construction. grin. That being sayed, you should be ashamed of yourself and your country for overhyping a project that started in 2008 ;13yrs ago and still at 40% completion.

In Kenya, 4km lang'ata flyover is also underway- if we start bombarding you guys with road grand projects currently under construction, then you'll have to run away.
SMH!!! Bombarding us with 4km flyover. I will leave those for kaduna and Borno to give the best ur zoo have to offer a serious competition.I keep telling u,ur zoo inspires no one.

You've said nothing regarding my previous submission. In fact, you've just proved my point.

Point one, you said our government cannot run any serious project without borrowing, I gave you an example of our expressway which is being funded through PPP and under full control of the government, I didn't dispute yours on PPP either.

Point 2, I said your red line 'project' is not anywhere, it's nothing, it doesn't exist. Was I lying? Prove me wrong, show us prove of its existence, post any pic on the progress and let's move on.

Point 3, why should I say your project started in 1985 yet we wholly understand with all cincher in place that the project was approved in 2006 and it break ground in 2011 grin? Lying is unacceptable here.

To conclude, you said we shouldn't believe Wikipedia info since it's baseless and you therefore came with your own date which you pulled from your ar*s hole, I gave you the link for skyscrapercity where people have been discussing the same project since 2012 and you're here trashing it as if though it's being edited like Nairaland .. Are you serious bruh grin?

Ur flyover is a mere $50m project with an over inflated corrupt budget sitting at about $600m I think. We are talking of massive stuffs that run into billions of US dollars not $50m flyover. Heck you can’t even afford to buy the trains(u will have to be strangled with Chinese or Japanese debt to achieve any of this) alone not to talk of laying the track.wonder no have why you had to opt for that inferior Spanish garbage.
You should also remind them that the project is 100% funded by Lagos State government

Firstly I will damned before I ever have to argue the date construction started.it’s started in 2014 and that’s fact.plus I honestly couldn’t care about that,I am talking present not history.

Secondly the flyover cost cannot be more than $50m .just forget that corrupt practices Kenyatta and is cohorts are doing.it’s fvcking overinflated.

Thirdly the price u quoted was for the proposed project in 2011.This is 2021 and cost has gone up.
Keep lying to yourself. The truth of the matter is that this project has been on discussion since 2006.

It was to be completed in 2011 but your government was extremely poor to beat the deadline. Now we're counting 13yrs since the project was proposed and 10yrs since it break ground - a mere 27km. cool

The discussion can be on from the last century,I don’t give a flying fvck.what matter is that construction started in 2014 and it has resumed with full funding so expect it to be completed from now till January.ur focus should be on the fad t that ur zoo cannot afford such feat, hence why you opted for that Spanish moving coffin.

So in your mind the rest of the world is waiting and standing while kenya is expanding?

By the way i hear of your scope,,, but your retail occupation is one of lowest in africa
