Igbos should also do the right thing. Build bridges and alignment, build trust and respect for other tribes.
Nobody gives you any thing in politics. You cajole, you beg, you align, you convince for it. Igbos have not done that. PDP has seen the hate and distain for APC by the igbos to the point that they couldn't draw the line between hate for APC and hate for Nigeria. PDP has also noticed the inconsequential voting power of the igbos as exposed by the last election. PDP has also seen the disjointed voices of the igbos(from our elites to the wheelbarrow pusher) as to what we really want. Is it Biafra? Is it Presidency? Is it restructuring? . It is not clear.
PDP used to be igbos strongest political hold but as it's now, even the PDP knows that the igbos are no longer the beautiful bride and the party is no longer interested in the feeling of the tribe in its scheme to wrestle power from APC.
As for that your song of "everyone hates us"... what about the people we hate?

PDP has been very unfair to the Igbos. The Igbos have slaved enough for the party. Unfortunately South East leaders are very selfish and myopic to be taken serious by other stakeholders in the party.
