You don't win wars based on emotional rantings.

You don't win wars because you are ruthless but you win wars because you have superior advantages over your opponent(s).

These superior advantages may be Superior Technology , greater economic power, favourable geographical factors like access to the ocean and/or international land boundaries, DEPENDABLE ALLIES or a combination of all of these.
