So sad. An Imo state man. If it were here, they would say fulani or unknown gun men. The number of gun deaths in USA just this year is staggering. Yet people call it saner clime. They think its safer there. Theonly better thing there is standard of living. Cost of living is far higher there. Safety is null. But you will always think the land is greener on the other side.

The truth is that crime rate is higher in the US than it is here. I Watched an interview of an American woman who was questioned about her decision to move to Nigeria, and her response was that, she was more worried about being shot and killed in the US, than being kidnapped in Lagos. Just that the US have a working system, and a more responsive security system as the case may be.

This is very true. Also gun laws allow civilians to carry guns around on them. This can lead to and has lead to many such incidents.
