And I never criticised Messi when he was on a downturn last season. Messi gave us everything but he could have given a bit more. Man earned over 300m euros in 5yrs. So he was adequately compensated for all glories and joy he brought the club.

La Liga counts 50% of the players wage from last year to calculate the wage cap. Messi basically needs to pay $200 million to play for Barca.
